Life isn't the same for all!

Have you ever experienced a transition from black n white to colourful viability?? Or have you ever seen anyone else going through that transition?

On the 5th Of December,I was taken to Bosco,Bengaluru Oniyavara Seva Koota, NGO located in Gandhinagar from my college. The day started at 8.00 A.M for me by a session by Ms.Sameera and Ms.Teeshta at the college campus itself. The session included fun filled activities, qualitative discussions and games. The games were designed in such a way that there were great messages conveyed through them which included the value of every individual's life.

Followed which there was a briefing about the day's plan and the tasks to be accomplished by 22nd December. The classroom gathering got dispersed and then we quickly boarded the convenient transportion in order to reach the NGO.We were already divided into 4 teams and had to be in the same for the rest of the day for all the tasks.

Exactly at 10.30 one of the faculties of the NGO delineated about the organization. He also added how the children are rescued from mitigate, grievous situations and further taken care by them.He claimed around 12 Children are rescued everyday from different places. The counsellors help the children to get out from their misery atleast to certain extent. But still they have a poignant reminder of their past time.He also unraveled some of the children's tales.I felt extremely sorry and empathetic for them.Followed which there was a Q& A session. This session concluded with quick refreshments.

It was time for the much awaited interaction with the children. The first two teams in which I was a part of led our way to the ground floor where the children were there. Meanwhile the other two teams went to the second floor to interact with the faculty. The students gave a warm welcome to everyone.Though they were a little reserved in the first few minutes they gelled up within no time once we started playing fun games to entertain them. Then we accomplished the tasks assigned priorly to us and danced towards the end of interactions.Later the 2 teams swapped and further worked on completing our task and reached the top floor once we were done. The smile on the children's face on seeing us made our day.

Once everyone assembled back, there was a debriefing session in which we were asked about our experience and later we were given three questions to hinder upon and share our reflections. And that was a wrap for the day!!

The answer to the above posed questions is, this NGO is paving a way for the children to dream big and lead a colourful life. What I mean by colourful life is a life like others filled with the joy and pleasures not a life of sorrow which is a black and white i.e a woeful life. This NGO see's children in this transmission period while them being a reason for it.Bosco is doing a great job in rescuing the children from different places and from pathetic situations and shaping their lives in order to make them better future Citizens. The organization also helps to find the parents and send the children back to their houses if they could trace the parents. Its also helping them to dream big by scrapping away their baggage full of sorrow and helplessness.

I realised how fortunate I am that I'm leading a much better life than the small kids over there who have faced a lot in such a tender age.
